MISSION
The task carried out is appropriate to its position as a department which manage and administer the land. Here are the main functions of the Federal Territory of Director of Lands and Mines:
1.Submit land applications for consideration of Federal Territory Land Working Comittee in accordance with legal provisions.
2.Determine that land management throughout the Federal Territory is implemented according to the policy of laws set by the Government.
3.Determine that land revenue is collected in a manner, which is effective and systematic.
4.Ensure that land is used according to regulations and laws of land to produce the optimum benefits to the people and Government.
