Evacuation Fire Drill for PPTG WP of Kuala Lumpur was successfully implemented on 23rd May 2017 (Tuesday).

This exercise is designed in accordance with the requirements in providing exposure to all the staff and members of the public who deal in the Department's awareness of fire in the Government generally. The exercise involved 440 residents of the Federal House comprising PPTG WPKL staff, the National Drug Agency branch of Brickfields (NADA), Chulia Facilities Management Sdn. Bhd. (CFMSB), Puncak Tegap Sdn. Bhd. (PTSB), the staff cafeteria on the premises and public in RPKL’s building dealing in this department. The time taken to evacuate the building RPKL is seven (7) minutes and record of success this time is the result of the commitment of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and all occupants of RPKL. This exercise gets very good cooperation from the Fire and Rescue Department (Hang Tuah station), Traffic Task Force of the Department of Investigation and Traffic Enforcement, Police and Enforcement Department, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the medical team from the Health Department of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
